Most leaks start small. A pinhole in a copper pipe, a worn washer, a joint that's been nipped up a bit too tight. Left alone they rot floorboards and stain ceilings, and then you're paying a joiner and a decorator as well as a plumber.
I trace the leak, tell you what it'll cost to fix, and fix it. If it's a five minute job I'll say so. I'd rather do a small job well and be the bloke you ring next time.
